Identity Week Europe 2022 was back to in-person events this June. We were delighted to sponsor the event, and be able to attend in the flesh! It was long overdue following lockdowns and isolation during the pandemic.
A few lucky members of our London team had the opportunity to attend the event for both days. They made the most of the presentations, seminars and panel discussions on the Digital Identity, and Identity and Access Management tracks. There were some really fascinating talks, particularly on decentralized identity and the future of the identity ecosystem.
It was amazing to see so many innovative, forward-thinking businesses from the whole spectrum of the identity industry come together and share ideas for the future of identity on a global scale. It was a privilege to be amongst them as the only recruitment specialists invited to exhibit.
Our booth was in a brilliant spot, close to the roundtable discussions, seminars, and start-ups. Plus, we were opposite Open Identity Exchange (OIX), who were also our neighbours at Identiverse in Colorado the week before!
From the many conversations we had with fellow exhibitors, speakers, and attendees, it’s clear that the industry is facing real challenges when it comes to hiring. To keep on innovating, and deliver the future of identity that those at Identity Week envision, we need to develop talent and encourage those with an interest to pursue a career in identity.
